Gathering of the People to feature food, art, entertainment

Colorado Springs, Friday, May 11, 2012     
   The 2nd annual Gathering of the People will be a day-long event held on Saturday June 2nd from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Takoda Tavern in Parker, CO which is owned by the most wonderful Bob & Nancy Nobels.  It will feature Native American entertainment throughout the day with Native American art, a  
silent auction and door prizes.  Attendance is free and everyone is welcome.  You will be able to purchase a $10 meal ticket for a hamburger or chicken sandwich, fries and a soda or beer.  All proceeds are then being donated to One Nation Walking Together.  We'll look for you there!

One Nation to be featured on RFD TV's Hidden Heritage

   Another show about One Nation Walking Together will air on RFD TV's Hidden Heritage the evening of May
 28th and again on the morning of May 29th.  Check your local listing for times.

Truck leaves for Pablo, MT.

Standing Rock, ND next!

Colorado Springs, Wednesday, May 2, 2012     
   A truck loaded with supplies left Sunday, April 29th for Pablo, Montana and is schedule to arrive there Wednesday, May 2nd.  Thanks to everyone for your donations!
  The next truck which started loading 
Monday, Jay 2nd will be destined for Standing Rock, North Dakota.  Items we need for this truck are furniture and appliances.  Thanks in advance for helping with your donations for this load, too!

Lower Brule truck delivered Saturday, Mar 31st

Colorado Springs, Thursday, March 29, 2012     
   A loaded truck is leaving our warehouse Friday morning March 30, 2012 for the Lower Brule Indian Reservation in South Dakota to be delivered on Saturday, March 31. Our friend from Brule will be there to meet One Nation Executive Director Urban Turzi and Operations Director Kathy Dunson to film the process of 
offloading the truck and to conduct interviews with the locals on how One Nation Working Together helps them out. This will then be part of the next episode of Hidden Heritage that features One Nation Walking Together on the RFD network.
   With that truck sent the next truck we load is destined for Pablo, Montana.
